JAMES FISFIS
PRESIDENT
Pathfinder’s founder James Fisfis has three decades’ experience in U.S. and international political campaigns with over 20 years winning the toughest California campaigns as a general consultant, media consultant and electoral researcher. He is recognized as an industry leader and serves as an elected board member of the American Association of Political Consultants.
He has led some of the most impactful and successful independent expenditure campaigns in California for leading advocacy organizations, such as the California Chamber of Commerce, the California Charter Schools Association, and Charles Munger Jr.’s Spirit of Democracy PAC.
He is the recipient of seven AAPC “Pollie” Awards and three Reed Award nominations for his successful and innovative ad campaigns, including the Silver “Pollie” Award for best Candidate Media Campaign of the 2014 election cycle.
James Fisfis is also an international consultant and published author in the field of quantitative and qualitative political public opinion research. His research and analysis of international political trends has been used by United States Ambassadors and diplomats, the National Security Council, U.S. political leaders and foreign policy analysts, as well as by foreign heads of state and government ministers and the Helsinki Commission on Human Rights.
Prior to founding Pathfinder, James Fisfis served in the California State Assembly as Political and Communications Director for three consecutive Republican Leaders and California’s 2002 Republican nominee for Governor.
James Fisfis graduated from the University of Notre Dame's law school and is a member of the Maryland Bar. He received his B.A. from Connecticut College.
